not easy picking green

"The celery one or the bluer one? Or are they both too dark?" Dolores trying to decide paint colors in her new apartment, Help her out, people.
Oh, and it should go with the view.

The darker one of the two, definitely. Brad just did over one of the bathrooms in Miami in celery, and it's just too vegan.

I say go celery. It is crisp, light and low cal!!! Too much blue and you'll end up looking like you are in a hospital ward. In fact, you might end up in a hospital ward because of the color. Go light and bright. In the city we need low carb, bright color decor...this isn't LA you know...we have winter, Angelina.

i think you should go with the color of your blouse. that color in the middle reminds me of what brad's hair looks like nowadays, and it's very nauseating (you wouldn't want anyone to fall off the balcony, would you?)

well, if it's about going with the view, then i said to hell with the paint and just hang on the wall one of those gigantic puerto rican flags and put up a couple of fania all-star salsa posters from back in the day when everyone wore a 'fro, along with a couple of mirrors you would attach to the walls. another poster idea would be one from that fort apache movie. it wouldn't hurt to also get one of those velvet jesus pictures; the real forlorn one where he's covered in thorns would go great with the view. then don't forget to cover ALL the furniture in plastic, and make sure you have enough sofrito to permeate the entire hallway with that smell. and last but not certainly not least, make sure you ALWAYS talk in a tone loud enough to make it sound like a constant argument is going on in your apartment.
all that will definitely go with the view and i guarantee it's much cheaper than painting.

This is certainly turning out to be a heated, bi-partisan sortof choice. On the one hand, we have the oh-so-now citichild, on the other the rad person I don't know who likes revolutions. And somewhere in between, the relatively conservative Dan. By the way, my other husband (not Brad) has a Bianchi, and isn't that a sort of baby-food flat green? I say paint it white. Can't go wrong with white. Brad's hair is white. Sour grapes, Jen.

Last I heard, at about 11:00 last night, sitting in the oh-so-chic loft apartment of the NYT editorial writer, she was ging to paint "the whole fucking thing" white.
