point a to point z

Angelina & Daughter, a wholly owned subsidiary of B&C Five-Star Transport, help out in my life-long effort to move everything I find on the street in NYC to the island and everything I find on the island to NYC. This latest score was temporarily placed in front of the circuit-breaker box, a site that later proved to be misguided (see previous post). On the return trip to NYC, the load included smoked bluefish and a large wooden fish which does not fit anywhere in the apartment.

You know, if you won't surrender your fine tenants to me, and since you didn't let me eat any of the fudge they left behind, either, the least you could do is lend me the bookcase for a couple of years. Cate needs it it in her room in Madison, Georgia. It's all wrong in front of the circuit breaker, anyway. What's more, we could just throw it in with the three households worth of stuff I have to pay myself to move from Block Island and Weir Farm to Georgia. I have an even better idea. Let's put the bookcase, and a few pieces of stuff in our moving van, and spend the rest of our lives just driving around the country.

p.s. I like buffness. In men, and in dogs. Call Edie. We have five bedrooms, and I'm thinking of having custom made screens installed for 2006.

Count me in for the furniture trip...I think it must be genetic. So can we, like, stop at my fiance's house in Brooklyn to get my four book shelves, glass coffee table, bedside tables, filing cabinet, and a lot of other stuff. Plus clothes. Oh yeah. I have a mega clothes problem...I am thinking an intervention might be in order.

And, don't move without us, Angelina. I will home school your daughter while we circle the country, No the continent!!!

Do NOT leave California off the itinerary. I have lots of good stuff to add to the truck.

Oh, I am so excited by this. Seriously. We could get a big Winnebago, or maybe just a semi with a huge cab, and we girls could move in, and move on. If Citichild could homeschool Cate, we'll have it made. I could do this after say, December, when my tenancy at Weir Farm ends. Maybe Rex and Dan would like to come, just for the first few days. I mean, after that, it has to be Girls Only.
By the way, for all those who are wondering, Brad and I have not had sex yet.

So, Sistah: It occurs to me that an ocean voyage might be in order. Can we find a cruise line that will let us drive the semi onto the boat, sail the Atlantic (or better yet, the Pacific..through the Panama Canal, or even around Cape Horn,) and drive off at Dieppe? C'est a vous maitenant.

If only it were remunerative I would be so there.
