We need to think up a concise, no-more questions asked response to "Why Missouri?"
Not just you, but me.
Not just because I tell people I'm thinking of moving to Missouri, but because most of the people I know also know you.
So when they ask how you are and I say "She's fine. She's in Missouri." Or worse yet: "She's fine. She bought a place in Missouri.", the inevitable reaction is one of shocked incredulity.
I then have to spend at least 15 minutes explaining when and why you first went down there, how beautiful the area is, how water is going to be the next big issue and so forth.
I'm, like, looking for the four word answer.
How does "She has family there" sound?
Or better yet: "I simply don't know." End of story.
Unlike Bear, I do have running water. It just runs very slowly. And will, until I invest in another pump. And well. And CBA, how does "She grew up in the Ozarks" sound?
I like the green leaf,Sycamore? and you are polluting the water with what's in the red bottles? The guys must be lined up around the block for this bath...What you see in Missouri stays in Missouri...

How's the river?
Very clear and nice. Cool, but not cold.

Do you not have running water at home? Can't remember.

There's nothing like the truth.
The pink flips are very cute but those rocks call for Crocs. I have an extra pair, in red, if you want them.
How sweet of otra rubia! Crocs! I like those shoes that have the toe inserts and make you look barefoot. You could go in the water in those.
