Great shot Claudia. Tx for wonderful image to begin my day. We viewed the decidedly smaller T'Dega version in the company of Herndon and Jan, from our front lawn vantage point, while licking cones of peach ice cream and sipping sangria on Sat nite . T'Dega didn't do Sun. fireworks this year.
This photo could very well be interpreted as "Heat Index", as experienced by me upon our return to Georgia.
But it also heralds a new sort of Independence.
As my daughter and I were driving home today from the grocery store, I said aloud "God! I wish it were September."
Then I realized September would not only mean cooler weather, but my only daughter's departure for college.
Granted, she drives me crazy most of the time. But what, I asked myself, will I do without her?
And then it came to me. I could ADOPT another child! Someone younger, and more malleable... Someone who will say to me " Yes, Mommy. I will vacuum the floor! I will load the dishwasher! I love you, Mommy."
My New Child will get the top bunk.
My New Child will get a big allowance for being the Good Child who takes the trash out without an argument worthy of F. Lee Bailey.
all of this from a fuzzy pic of the fireworks? wow that's a stretch...maybe the new daughter should be a son? you know they pay people to take in foster children...they pay more if you teach them things...really...like how to mop the floor...I went to the fireworks with a couple that are doing this...there is a connection here

A new era of threats has arrived.
