the butterfly effect

This butterfly wouldn't let Bill alone, sitting on his hat, his hand. Bill and Carla came over to the Goose last night, as did Frank and his cousin Ralph and Dianne, and Dianne took us all out to dinner at the River's Edge cafe across the street ("they come from miles around"). Dinner can set you back a whopping $4, including hush puppies.
The butterfly didn't attend.

Parties follow you everywhere you go. Oh I can't wait til the Alabamy one. You being the guest of honor an all. Are ya scared yet! My mother is making you one of her vases. Heads up so you can work on acting when you have to respond in front of all of us that have one.
Maybe I'll get her to put this pic of Bill and the butterfly on your vase. Ho Ha OH ha!

Things I said I would never buy: petunias. But the color was so pretty. I even planted some in Block Island this year, though I bet they've croaked by now in the heat.

I like the smell of petunias...and they don't die easy....a big plus for those of us who do not water
