Somewhere there is color. Somewhere the air is soft and green. Somewhere people's skin is not flaking off. Somewhere people are wearing bikinis. Somewhere life is stirring.

The driveway plowed yet again this morning, making for the 5th time this month, expecting whatever melts in the sun today will turn to ice tonight when it drops down to the teens; extended forecast shows that it won't be above freezing at night until April. Pity the poor crocuses.
