As we left Block Island, the shad was blooming in the rain. A lot of the island was underwater, too, due to neo lakes and extra high tides. It's rainy in New York as well, but full, green and flowered spring. And lawsikins, the pile of mail on the table seems to have flourished also!

well if dogs sell blog spots I better start paintiing more of them.... this photo reminds me of the one that inspired me several years ago to paint and maybe I will again...thank you since I am never there at this time and it is so beautiful..the land of lace...send me a pic of Ruca and I'll paint that one?
