verbal bouquet

The party's over—Kathleen's 50th—but the roses are still blooming. And as I look at that picture, I realize that the stickie on my computer is trying to remind me of something besides "Move Truck."

The other evening, Ed got into word coinages and came up with:
joie de visa compulsive spending
songheimers the inability to remember lyrics
and the self explanatory crystal methodist.
Anything I forgot?
For a blog that does this all the time, check out Schott's.

Happy Birthday, Kathleen. I hope you are thriving.

Somewhere in one of my many files labeled "favorite things" is an older New Yorker cartoon, depicting various pills for modern day use. Of course, the file is in a file cabinet in the storage locker, a five minute drive in the 95 degree heat from where I live.

I'll try to find it. Maybe in November, when it cools down.

If I'm still here.

One that is in my memory, however, is "Returnitol". For those who need help finding the strength to take ultimately unwanted purchases back to the store.

Hi CBA. Please do wait until November. We don't want to be looking for you in that storage locker. I wont need any Returnitol but I would like to see the various pills for modern day use.
