meanwhile, back in contractor land. . .

This is where the truck delivering the windows got stuck yesterday. The truck delivering the redwood didn't even try and dropped it at the top of what was once the driveway. And I'm panicking because this all has to be beautified by the time the tenants get here in a couple weeks. Yikes.

Maybe a nice bridge would be attractive...

First, that new house is beautiful. Second, that old house is beautiful. Third, your driveway is now a mud bath at the fabulous Claudia SPA City.

Wow, that house is big...maybe you can turn the driveway into a pool - the tenants might like that...

When I was younger
So much younger than today
I never needed anybody's backhoe in any way.

I didn't need gravel either.

But now I do.

And today's Beatle song is:

Girl, you gotta carry that weight
Carry that weight a long time
Girl, you gotta carry that weight
Carry that weight a long time

So the moral of this story, in which you have to carry every thing down ti the construction site, is this:

At certain times in your life the only thing that is important is who you sleep with.

At time like this the most important thing is who you schlepp with.
