So I saw the apt. exact ame as dolores' but renovated and with higher ceilings. LOVED it. Offered asking price. Don't think I'll get it. He can probably get more and he's in no hurry to sell. But he liked me and adored Dolores (natch) so maybe I have a shot...
Now, to get back on topic, what do you do with a house full of men on rainy days? Also, is all this rain costing you extra money or are acts of god figured into the budget when you signed with the contractor? How does all that work?

Well, after days of shine it is raining here in NYC too. And I went running in it without a bag over my head. And now I have to move the car. Hmpf.
