Jessica lives across the street from David. That's her house. She has been on the city council here in Missouri for several years, but this time has three opponents, none of whom are in bed with the devil or Nancy Pelosi, not that there's much to choose between those two. Also her opponents are not in favor of sodomy or solar power. Jessica felt she needed to get out of town today on election day, so she came out to T'ville. We ate at the cafe across the street, and she drank some of David's wine until she felt as if she could go back and face the music, whatever tune it was playing. Her husband sent her a text of himself wearing an "I voted" sticker and assured her that he had voted for her.
