The tourist season opened early on Block Island this year—loaded boats last weekend for the one nice day, people wandering around looking for open restaurants, bikers and walkers and mopedders visiting the sites.
OK, so my readers (except Neruda) don't like scenery as much as the tourists. We'll get back to pets or something presently.
Meanwhile, how about a caption?

Block Island sees first signs of a really big tourist season
the mountain comes to mohegan?
Between a rock and a hearty place?
Hey, this isn't a menu. It's some sort of dumb historical plaque!
Wow! You guys are great!
No I definitely do not want to paint this scene, it's the shape of the t shirt I think...how did they get out there on a moped? Is this the marker out by the north light or the one across from your house? I agree can't come up with any better captions...I was heading for something around rock and a hard place but hearty is the best
It is at the North Light. We believe they came out by moped. I assume at least two mopeds.
Yea, the guy at the Albion told me that if you push the little plaque on the top, the rock moves - and reveals the tunnel leading right to the buffet at the Nordic Lodge! Are you ready?
