Do you know how hard it is to think of something new to say in this space almost every day for five years?
Some days you're just plain not thinking; others you can't say what you're thinking. Then there are the days where nothing happens and the other days when everything happens and you can't tell!
So I want to thank faithful posters like CBA and others who find something to amuse in their own attics and save me from those days without inspiration. Like today.

It's that kind of a day -- cleaning, painting, mundane daily activities that in no way resemble antics. But there is hope -- soon those cabinet doors will have a fresh coat of paint -- soon your bedroom will be freshly cleaned (my, where did you get those darling bedside lamps?) -- soon my office will be cleared of the clots of old papers that hold me down like 100 pound ankle weights.
And soon -- Alice in Wonderland will open and we all can go and see Johnny Depp.
So, Faithful Blogger, hang in there. Your flashes of inspiration, intersperced with more mundane pieces are just right. And, if you hit breathtaking home runs every day, that, too, would lose its edge.
So true, Madam Herpetologist.
Claudia is the tie that binds.
Even if nothing much is happening, we remain riveted.
As Bruce would say: "You can't forsake the ties that bind."
So... tell us more about what you can't say
It's just that as the I CHING says " Perseverence furthers" isn't that it? You just gotta keep us all going ....I am NOT a daily blogger ...sorry ...the days just go way too quickly for my slow mind....
I'm with Neruda...
