Even so, I still get a little thrill when I vote. I love the volunteers and I love those old mechanical machines.
I liked the machine, too. I have always voted before on BI using paper and pencil and slipping the ballot into a locked wooden box. My vote for president may not have counted for much, but with maybe 200 people on island those local officials had to contend with our family bloc.
