pigeons roost in palm springs
That was the day before yesterday. Today I am in New York, where there are also pigeons, and naturally mine have already come home to roost and need to be attended to before much more time passes. Which reminds me, better open the mail.

My psychic intuition sensed you were home. Otherwise, why would I have had the best dream ever last night?
I dreamt Bruce came to visit Weir Farm. He was a young Bruce, like he looked in his thirties. Of course, I was a young me.
I can't remember the occasion, but he wanted to play football, and there were a lot of people around, so he had a great time, and sat next to me at the picnic. We were completely relaxed around each other, as if we had known each other for years.
I was almost on the verge of telling Bruce that Cutler Durkee (sp) said that all he ever sang about was girls and cars, when my daughter and the diesel trucks at Godfrey Seed woke me up.
They woke me up before I could find my LP copy of Born to Run, and ask him to sign it.
So...what does this all mean? I guess it means I'm glad you're home, because we have Bruce in common.
And I always wanted to have him give a concert at Weir Farm. But, let's face it. Even if he said he would, the NPS would never have agreed.
I've been listening to Springteen for 35 years. Now we're both 60. Am I traumatized that the Run we were Born To make went too quickly?
Yes.
But you know what? I knew Bruce wouldn't be upset by Cutler's comment. After all, he's still The Boss.

Well, the NPS has no say over what concerts are held on our farms...& now we have TWO farms, so now's your chance, CBA!!!
It could be the new Woodstock.
Wait...We could call it Livestock!!!
We'll clean up with all the service industries we'll provide.
