May the darkest night of the year bring back the light.

more portraiture
I have had a lot of visitors lately, starting with Hannah's family on Thanksgiving. Chris doesn't like his picture made, so he's missing.
Then came Didi (aka Diane Robins, a friend from high school who I hadn't seen in years. She is a professor of biochemistry at the University of Michigan with a specialty in hormones.
We were joined for two evenings (hence the lame picture) by another high school friend, Celia Braxton, who is also a prof, sometimes in theater and sometimes in English.
And also by my Purcell cousins, first cousin Angie, from Delaware, and her niece Elizabeth from Florida.
Then Katie and Mike came to celebrate my birthday with me, bearing enough flowers for a funeral and also another painting for my flower wall. (New pic lower right) Oh, and Katie went home with the Covid. I don't seem to have gotten it.
And then Ali and family came to town to visit her mom, Toby. And I got a picture of Lulu. Ali did not want to sit because she had an awful cold.

portraiture
There are a couple portraits I like to make every year. One is of Camilla with her great great great great aunt Claudia Glenn.
And one in the future may be this one of Isaac.
