news of the city

In the middle of the night:
Crash!
Clatter!
Boom!
Tinkle, tinkle, tinkle.
Kathleen about had a heart attack, but it was only the kitchen utensils and spices falling off the wall. . .

  1. Good-Bye Walls

I've come to balk with you again
    Your view is small
    You stay plumb
    I jump when...

    ...I see a tile
that can part from its vast field
    and bide awhile
'jist talk a li'l of how it feels...

    ...to suspend
    some hopes and dreams
    of grand souffle'
    instead of halving Krispy-Kremes

    So here's the jump
And it can be done again
    Jist ice this lump
'n call King's horses and his men

    again

  2. Thought I was dreaming. NOT. It stayed on the wall longer enough to feed streams of hungry folk and shall be back up to feed more.
