i love you

rose and thorns
Who Do You Love?

I walk 47 miles of barbed wire,
I use a cobra-snake for a necktie,
I got a brand new house on the roadside,
Made from rattlesnake hide,
I got a brand new chimney made on top,
Made out of a human skull,
Now come on take a walk with me, babe,
And tell me, who do you love?

Who do you love?
Who do you love?
Who do you love?
Who do you love?

I rode around the town, use a rattlesnake whip,
Take it easy babe, don't give me no lip,

Who do you love?
Who do you love?
Who do you love?
Who do you love?

  5. The cheers in '55, "black denim trousers and motorcycle boots"; bo didley in '56 "cobra snake for a necktie"...you had to be there, you had to be 12, and you had to have a sartorial streak, don't give me no lip...

  7. Oh, my god. Like, you have to ask?

How does that song everyone sings go?

I mean, Ella Fitzgerald knew it, Sinatra crooned it, the Flamingos pinked it.

I simply say "I only have eyes for me, dear." Ask Stavros or Latsis. You can even ask whats-her-name. Oh, yeah. Nicole.

If you've got it, sell it.

  8. I'm thinkin Tom Rush....now he did a great job with that tune...so Happy Valentine..I was just told how this day came to be ..do you know the story ?? Mr. Valentine was beheaded back in the 1500s outside of Rome for upholding the institution of marriage when the emporer in charge wanted none of it....can't remember why...strange stuff..so they made him a saint? Lots of love to you dear Claudia from the north woods when are ya comin up?
