In honor of the Year of the Dog, I re-fengshui-ed the NY digs. Despite the use of the year's auspicious colors and directions, however, I haven't had a good night's sleep since changing my bedroom around. I may have to un-fengshui it—maybe in October or so, when I return.

Further honors it seems accord to having chosen a name for the wire hair dachshund puppy, thus, Cherry Sue, after a llama in the Poppleton series of chidren's books by Cynthia Rylant. Among the discards: Jack, Mae, Willamena, Greta, Lola-Lola.

ReplyDeleteShe is a girl dog and her name is indeed Cherry Sue. Her last name is Woof Woof. Tonight she and Simon Grey got into an actual pissing contest. I am thinking of calling Mutiny on the Bounty.
