Remember the boards on the Ford? Well, they are all on the wall now. It's a wonder the house doesn't sink with all the weight it's got in it. And I under de estimated the amount of wood I needed by half. No matter how much I calculate and measure I can't get it right. I don't want to buy too much (pretty full under the house) so I buy short.
And then have to go back. Without using the brakes.
I believe my plan is to whitewash this wood. I was thinking of just diluting the Kilz I have hanging around. The only other white I have is semigloss. What do you think?
Also, do I put the truck mirror back on the wall?

  1. Go ahead! Why not get diabetes! Or better yet, ask some damn fool man why the world is going to pieces!

The world is going to pieces because it's run by MEN!

Bigger and stronger?? See if I retire to Missouri with you! You need an attitude adjustment. Or, as I said, a girdle.

    Ggrrr.

  4. k. By virtually unanimous acclaim, the truck mirror will make a reappearance.
No chichi little beveled mirrors here. No siree. Gimmee a nice, big, macho rear view.
So what do you think about painting the window casement that purple I used upstairs? or should I do the virgin white thang?

  5. How's this for an idea, babe?
If the truck continues to fuck up, and you deem it kaput, have it compressed at the junkyard and hang IT on the wall.

    Cool, eh?

  6. Claudia, I need a little inspiration... I've read your post 'this post', I enjoyed it so I decided to comment. I've been thinking about my blog and how there are all these people posting strange comments there. Maybe you understand, I'm not sure, but it's tiring to read the numbers of comments that don't have much to do with my stuff. My normal surf boards website never suffers this because it just sells surf boards and isn't a blog. Do you have any ideas for how to stop the cluttering of non-relevant comments? Thanks for your great blog. Tips are always welcome...

    good day -

  7. Great post Claudia, without blogs like yours I would be miserable and bored. My recent injury has me cooped up at home, so it's always lucky to find a gem like your blog here to keep me amused. My new surf boards website is getting better but it's hard to find information on new surf boards stuff, so I like learning from quality blogs like yours because it helps me in my web projects. You do a sweat job my friend. I'll be bookmarking your site in a special place. Will probably tell a friend too.

    Nice work ~

  8. Well Claudia, quality blogging comes from people who put the energy into their blog like you have. It was a nice change to land on your blog, lots of others are junked up with useless comments and information. I put a lot of energy into my surfboards site, so it does pretty well with surfboards stuff. I think I'll re-create my blog because I like what you've done here and want mine to be more like yours. Thanks for the lesson in good bloggin. You get a special bookmark :)

    have a fantastic day..
